About PrayerMap

Why PrayerMap exists

PrayerMap is a structured prayer app for Christians, ministry teams and churches, built and run by Comp Edge Solutions, the software company of Steven Mikel. It exists so that prayer leads the day instead of being squeezed into its margins: a prayer list you actually pray through, on a schedule, with a record of what God has done.

Pray first

PrayerMap was born out of a personal desire to live the rhythm Jesus lived: to pray first, not as sentiment but as structure. He rose early to pray (Mark 1:35), prayed all night before choosing the twelve (Luke 6:12), and sought the Father before the cross (Matthew 26:36-44). Prayer was not His reaction. It was His beginning.

The trouble most of us have is not a lack of love for the people we pray for. It is memory. Names drift, requests are forgotten, answers go unnoticed. PrayerMap keeps the list, spreads it across your week so every person comes around, and keeps the record of answered prayer so faith has something to look back on.

What shaped it

  • Lead With Prayer by Ryan Skoog, Peter Greer and Cameron Doolittle, and its prayer map framework: the conviction that leaders who center prayer reshape culture.
  • The Other Half of Church by Jim Wilder and Michel Hendricks, whose Joy on Demand exercise is the foundation of PrayerMap's Gratitude and Joy practice.
  • John Wesley's band meetings and Patrick Morley's Man in the Mirror, behind PrayerMap's annual accountability.
  • The prayers of the apostle Paul, behind Pray Like Paul, and the prayers Yeshua Himself prayed, behind the Messianic Prayers add-on.

Who builds it

Comp Edge Solutions designs, builds and hosts PrayerMap. Steven Mikel leads the work. Every message sent through the contact page is read and answered by the people who build the app, not a support queue.

Our privacy promise

Your prayers are yours. In team and church accounts, administrators see only aggregate counts, never the words of anyone's prayer items. PrayerMap does not sell your data, does not use it for advertising, and does not use your prayer content to train AI models. The full details are in the Privacy Policy.

How it is paid for

The Personal plan is free for one person. Ministry and Church plans for teams start at $7 a month, verified 501(c)(3) nonprofits and churches receive 25 percent off, and anyone who wants to help can support PrayerMap with a gift. See pricing.
