Prayer list

A prayer list app that keeps every request

PrayerMap is a prayer list app for Christians. It organizes the people and needs you pray for into subjects and specific prayer items, keeps the scripture you pray with each one, and can fill an empty list from a library of 224 scripture-anchored prayer points in about ninety seconds.

Then it does what a paper list cannot: it brings every item around in your prayer sessions, so no one slips off the bottom.

Organize prayer requests by person and need

A PrayerMap prayer list has two levels. A subject is who or what you pray for: your wife, your son, your pastor, your church, a missionary, your city. Under each subject sit its prayer items, the specific requests, as many as you need.

  • Tell PrayerMap who a subject is, a man, a woman, a married couple or a group, and the app speaks about them correctly, including the right plural pronouns when you pray Paul's prayers over a husband and wife together.
  • Priority weights from 1 to 5 keep the most pressing items coming around more often, and an optional session frequency pins an item to a share of your sessions.
  • Categories gather related subjects together on the list, for example Family, Church or a class you lead.
  • Pause a subject for a season without deleting it, and pick it back up later.
  • Pray together: mark any item as personal, shared with your spouse, or open to the whole family.

224 ready-made prayer points, every one with scripture

Not sure what to pray for your son, your pastor or a friend in a hard season? The PrayerMap suggestion library holds 7 categories, 34 topics and 224 individual prayer points, and every one carries its full scripture text. Pick a topic, uncheck anything that is not yours to pray, tap once, and the subject and its prayer points are created together.

You can also borrow just the verses. On any prayer item, tap Browse suggestions to pull scripture from a single prayer point into what you have already written. Verses are added rather than replaced, so you can stack several.

A Christian prayer list with the Bible beside it

Every prayer item in PrayerMap can carry its key scriptures in full, and they are shown during each prayer session, so you pray the promise instead of trying to remember where it was. Choose your Bible once in your profile and every verse appears in it: AMP, CJB, ESV, KJV, MSG, NASB, NASB95, NET, NIV, NIV84, NKJV, NLT or RSV.

The list is not a filing cabinet. PrayerMap's prayer schedule brings each item into your sessions, and when God answers, the item moves to your answered prayer journal with your note of how He moved.

Questions about the PrayerMap prayer list

How can I keep track of who I pray for?

Put each person on a PrayerMap prayer list as a subject, add their specific requests as prayer items, and let the prayer schedule bring each one into your daily sessions. You check items off as you pray, and the app remembers what you prayed and when, so you never have to keep it all in your head.

What is the best way to organize a prayer list?

Organize by person or need first, then by specific request. In PrayerMap that means subjects (for example your wife, your son, your church) with prayer items under each, a priority for each item, and a category to group related subjects. Scripture attached to each item keeps your prayers anchored in God's Word.

Is PrayerMap a prayer journal app?

Yes, in the way that matters most: PrayerMap keeps your requests, the scripture you pray, what you prayed each day, and every answered prayer with your note of how God answered. Its Reports page lets you look back over your whole prayer history.

Where can I find prayer points for my family?

The PrayerMap suggestion library has a Family category with 9 topics and 63 prayer points, such as prayers for a wife, a husband, a son or a daughter, each with its scripture. Pick a topic and it becomes a subject on your list in one tap.

Is the PrayerMap prayer list free?

Yes. The free Personal plan holds up to 10 prayer subjects and 50 prayer items. Ministry and Church plans for teams have no subject or item limits.

Every prayer covered. Every answer remembered.
